The Origin of Torus

Returning to his roots and running a tree farm in Sandy, Utah inspired Nate Walkingshaw to create Torus.

"I love old innovations intertwined with modern technology. So, I designed a battery based on the kinetic energy of a flywheel, which has been around for thousands of years and paired it with modern technology to create a complete power management and power storage experience. The result is an energy powerhouse with two significant benefits: saving money and living more sustainably. But the learning journey continues. Torus wasn’t born from an entrepreneurial endeavor to tackle climate change — I just wanted to run my farm more efficiently.
